Hello and welcome! Our founder, Hannah Fortier, is a dedicated educator with a passion for empowering students to excel. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.), a Bachelor of Arts in English (B.A.), and a Minor in Secondary Education from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. With over 7 years of experience teaching High School English and tutoring students across a variety of public school systems—including Loudoun County, Harrisonburg City, Rockingham County, and Augusta County—she brings a well-rounded approach to tutoring.

Ms. Fortier is passionate about fostering a growth mindset in her students and believes that learning isn’t just about mastering content, but about developing confidence and resilience through each step of the learning journey. By focusing on a tailored, results-driven approach, she helps students turn obstacles into opportunities for growth and build the skills they need to thrive.
